Free Standing Display Unit (FSDU)
A free standing display unit gives a product range its own position on the shop floor. Plan the footprint, shelf arrangement and graphics around the merchandise and location. Discuss your FSDU brief with Benson Display, whether the display supports a short campaign or a longer-term retail installation.
Custom Free Standing Display Units for Retail
Start with the product pack sizes and the quantity that should be visible at one time. Decide which direction customers approach from and whether the display will be browsed on one side or several. Signage should introduce the range without blocking the products or the view across the surrounding area.
A permanent display and a campaign unit can require different materials, assembly methods and replacement graphics. Include replenishment access and the empty packaging or reserve stock that staff must handle. Lighting, lockable sections and digital screens should be specified separately; they are not automatic features of a custom floor display.
Develop Your FSDU Project Brief
Send Benson Display product samples or dimensions, target quantities, a location photo and artwork references. State how many stores need the unit, the expected campaign duration and any limits on delivery or assembly at each location.
Confirm the proposed materials, shelf loading, stability arrangements and graphic dimensions before approval. Agree packaging, assembly instructions and the process for replacing signs or damaged parts. Reference images are design starting points, not evidence of completed Benson installations or a promise of sales performance. Use the final drawings and specification to define what will be supplied.
