1. Fiberglass: Ideal Material for Ice Cream
(1) Material: Real ice cream can only stand for half an hour in summer, while giant ice cream made of fiberglass will not melt, even if it stands in the sun for a whole day at 40 degrees, and it still has strong shape and color. Even the dripping syrup on the giant ice cream sculpture will not flow down but remain solid and hard. In addition, fiberglass material does not absorb water and does not rust. The rain water on the sculpture is like a washing and color brightening bath.
(2) Light in Weight: Giant ice cream sculpture is so huge that most people cannot imagine that it is actually very light in weight. The fiberglass ice cream sculpture is very easy to carry and move. For example, a 3-meter-high ice cream cone sculpture can be transported by two people. Therefore, fiberglass ice cream sculpture can be put in any place.
(3) Low-Cost: Traditional sculptural materials, such as bronze and stone, are much more expensive than fiberglass. On the one hand, the raw material cost is low, and on the other hand, the production process is also simpler. The use of molds and casting technology can produce many same-shaped products in one production pass, and has a strong advantage in mass production.

2. Styles: From Ice Cream to Cones
The single-scoop ice cream sculptures look like they were just pulled out of the freezer: a round sphere with fine icy crystals. Glossy paint makes it look like it’s covered in a thin layer of ice from afar and even the color can’t be distinguished from real ice cream.
Ice cream cones are especially appreciated by detail maniacs. Texture of the cone is so distinct you can even see the wrinkles, and the edges are intentionally burnt, as if right out of the oven. The ice cream scoop is heaped so full that a little overflow is trickling down the sides, forming a few trails of melt.
With layers of ice cream and jam, the sundae sculptures boast distinct layers. Chocolate sauce is poured down from the top, creating irregular lines going down the sides, with small, “solid” droplets dripping in a few places. The chopped nuts on top are applied using small pieces of fiberglass.
3. Applications: Sweeten wherever sweetness is required
On commercial streets, you’ll find the most frequent use of giant ice cream sculptures. A rainbow ice cream sculpture that is 3 meters high at the entrance of a food court is visible from a distance. The red, orange, yellow and green colors look like a sweet rainbow, which is the best free advertising for the neighborhood.
Giant ice cream sculptures are also irreplaceable at the entrances of dessert and ice cream stores. Whether at the entrance or in the store, it adds a little flavor and makes customers unforgettable. In theme parks, half-human-high ice cream sculptures are scattered on the streets, which has become a favorite of tourists.
At weddings and birthdays, giant ice cream sculptures can create a sweet mood. At the check-in area of an outdoor wedding, two white ice cream sculptures with flowers on top were placed, which was in line with the romantic atmosphere of the venue.
