Every statue in this set uses a fiberglass reinforced polymer (FRP) shell — lightweight, strong, and weather-resistant. The material does not crack under UV exposure and handles both indoor air conditioning and outdoor humidity without warping or fading. Each piece is hollow-cast, which keeps the weight manageable for installation and relocation.
The surface finish starts with multiple layers of automotive-grade primer, followed by hand-applied polyurethane paint in the exact character colors. A UV-resistant clear coat seals the finish and gives each statue the smooth, slightly glossy look you see in the photos. Up close, the surface feels solid and premium — not hollow or toy-like.
Color & Finish
Color accuracy is critical for licensed IP characters, and each statue matches the official Doraemon color palette precisely. Doraemon’s iconic sky blue, white facial markings, and red collar bell are all reproduced faithfully. The supporting characters — Nobita in his blue suit with yellow bow tie, Shizuka in her teal dress, the dancing girl in turquoise, and the laughing man in his blue jacket — each carry distinct, fully saturated tones that read clearly from ten metres away.
All metallic details, such as Doraemon’s silver bell, use actual metal-effect paint with a polished finish rather than flat coverage. This attention to detail is what separates a display-grade cartoon fiberglass sculpture from a generic prop. Visitors notice the difference, and so do their cameras.
Size & Scale
The standard set produces characters at approximately 1.2m to 1.8m tall — large enough to be photographed alongside adults and children, and prominent enough to serve as a visual anchor in a mall atrium or outdoor plaza. Doraemon himself sits at approximately 1.2m in the seated pose shown, while the standing characters range from 1.5m to 1.8m. Every scale dimension is proportionally faithful to the original character designs.
Custom sizing is fully available. If you need a larger centerpiece — 2m or above — or a smaller tabletop version for a retail counter, we adjust the mold accordingly. Base plates are included on all figures and come pre-drilled for floor anchoring, which keeps each statue stable in high-traffic areas without additional rigging.
