Horizontal Carpet Rolls on a Wheeled Frame

This mobile carpet roll display rack reference places rolled carpets across five visible vertical levels on a pale A-shaped frame. Rolls appear on both sides of the structure, with their ends visible beside the uprights. Repeated holes run down the side members, and a handwheel is shown on one side. Casters sit beneath the lower frame. These features identify the pictured arrangement, but they do not establish the load rating, adjustment system or purpose of the wheel.

Specify Roll Dimensions Before Choosing the Layout

A roll display needs a different sample schedule from a rack for flat hanging rugs. Provide the width, outside diameter, core details and loaded weight of each roll. Check whether the intended merchandise can sit at the proposed level without touching the roll above or hiding the pattern that staff need to show. Five visible levels describe the reference image only; confirm the number of usable positions and the permitted loading for your actual materials.

Confirm the Handwheel and Support Mechanism

A handwheel may suggest an operating function, but the photograph does not show it being used. Ask the supplier to explain what it controls and to provide the relevant drawing or demonstration. Do not assume powered rotation, synchronized feeding or a carpet cutting function. Confirm how each roll is supported, retained and replaced, and whether any height changes are possible. The holes in the uprights alone do not prove a safe adjustment method. Include the tools and staff access needed for loading in the specification.

Review Rolling, Parking and Demonstration Space

Determine whether the fixture will remain in one showroom position or move regularly between displays. Provide the total loaded weight and the floor conditions, including thresholds or slopes on the intended route. Ask for the caster and brake specifications and the parking procedure before a customer handles a sample. The image does not prove lockable wheels or stability under movement. Allow room to view and handle the carpet without extending the demonstration into the main customer walkway.

Roll Rack Enquiry Questions

Does the wheel unwind the carpet? Its function requires confirmation; the still image is insufficient evidence.

Are the carpet rolls supplied with the rack? Treat the displayed rolls as presentation examples unless separately itemized.

Which finish and material are used? Request the frame and surface specification rather than inferring them from the pale appearance.

Send the roll sizes, weights and showroom movement requirements.
