This bakery shelving unit features a steel-wood combination structure. The front has five separate tiered trays. The back has an open metal grid panel. The top and bottom with matching wood trim. It serves both as an open display for products and as a storage solution for store supplies.

I. Overall Appearance

  • The main facade has three functional zones: a top signage area, a middle multi-tier display area, and a bottom floor-level dust-proof area.

  • The top is a full-width solid wood trim board. Also, the surface is flat with no raised parts. Merchants can print category names directly on the board, strengthening the visual identity of the bakery section.

  • The middle section is the core display area, featuring five independent trays. Also, each tray consists of two wooden panels of the same size. At the same time, they are easy to split and combine.

  • The back is fully covered with a metal grid panel. The grid has evenly openings. It helps bear lateral pressure and improves air circulation, meeting the open display needs of bread display racks.

  • The bottom has a one-piece wooden baseboard that sits flat on the floor. Also, it hides the metal support structure underneath and prevents dust and debris from collecting under the unit.

II. Metal Support Structure

  • The vertical load-bearing uprights are thickened cold-rolled steel. Also, the surface has a matte anti-corrosion coating, protecting against rust caused by flour and moisture in the bakery.

  • The uprights have multiple rows of evenly spaced adjustment holes. Also, each shelf level can adjust up or down freely to fit different heights of baked goods.

  • The triangle brackets snap directly into the holes on the uprights. Assembly and disassembly are simple. Each bracket has sufficient load capacity, supporting heavy-duty use of commercial bakery shelving.

  • The back grid panel is fixed to the inside of the uprights with clips. Also, the grid does not fully seal the back of the unit. Air can pass through freely, preventing bread from becoming soft due to long-term enclosed storage.

III. Wood Display Trays

  • All display trays, top trim, and bottom base boards are wood-grain fireproof panels. Also, the surface is treated to resist oil and liquid. If cream or jam drips onto the surface, it can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

  • The edges of the panels are rounded to remove sharp corners, preventing injuries to customers and staff. Fully compliant with safety standards for food retail display equipment.

  • The trays have a modular, split design. Each individual wooden tray can be removed separately, making it easy to clean crumbs from the gaps. They can also be tilted individually to hold long items like baguettes or sliced loaves.

  • The light wood finish softens the cold look of the metal frame, creating a warm and welcoming bakery atmosphere. When used as bakery display shelves, it enhances the visual appeal of the products.

IV. Space Functionality

  • The upper display space is for boxed desserts and bakery gift items. The middle space is for European loaves, cakes, and doughnuts. The lower space can hold whole boxes of toast or packaging supplies, meeting the storage needs of bread shop storage racks.

  • Shelf heights are fully adjustable. Reducing the gap between shelves allows you to display cupcakes or small pastries. Increasing the gap allows you to place large birthday cakes or long baguettes. Covers all types of bakery products in the store.

  • When multiple bakery shelving units are placed together, you can create a dedicated bakery sales zone. All baked goods are displayed together. Suitable for large retail areas in supermarkets or chain bakeries.

  • The open, unobstructed display allows customers to see baked goods clearly without opening doors. This shortens the selection process and improves the customer flow in food retail.

V. Application Scenarios & Practical Advantages

  • Suitable for independent neighborhood bakeries, in-store bakery sections in supermarkets, coffee shops with pastry sections, and convenience store dessert areas. A versatile type of food retail bakery shelving units.

  • Modular design with easy-to-ship components. Each part is relatively lightweight. Two workers can assemble a full unit in a short time.

  • Standardized replacement parts. If a bracket or wooden tray becomes worn, it can be replaced individually. No need to replace the entire shelving unit. This reduces long-term maintenance costs for store owners.

  • Steel-wood material resists dust and moisture. Daily cleaning only requires wiping the surface with a cloth. The back grid panel needs occasional dusting. The maintenance process is simple and low-effort.

  • The unit has balanced weight. It can handle large volumes of baked goods continuously for long periods. Suitable for the high-frequency restocking and continuous selling rhythm of bakeries from morning to night.
