50 sqm perfume store

If you’re given a store space of approximately 50 square meters, you can design it based on the layout of this perfume shop. This design not only allows you to effectively utilize the store’s floor space but also allows you to better plan your store’s circulation. This ensures that customers can enter the store unimpeded, and their journey from shopping to checkout is seamless.

From the outside, the combination of the black door and the transparent windows immediately catches the eye. The matte black door exudes a subtle yet powerful presence, while the brand logo (customizable with a light effect) stands out against the mall’s bright lights, acting as a visual magnet and effortlessly standing out from the surroundings. The large glass windows act as a silent invitation, quietly conveying the store’s refined atmosphere and allowing visitors to experience the space’s elegance before even entering.

The low wall cabinet: Located beneath the wall cabinet, it features multiple drawers, each categorized to store various perfume styles and sizes. The wooden drawer tops match the wall cabinet material, ensuring visual consistency while maintaining a neat and tidy display area through hidden storage. This perfectly addresses the pain point of stocking a large amount of inventory while avoiding clutter. When restocking, store staff can quickly find the product by simply opening the drawer, significantly improving operational efficiency.

The window display: As mentioned above, it serves as a “hook for customers outside the store.” The design adheres to the principle of “simplicity and focus”: the countertop is compact yet sleek (the light wood color combined with the metal trim further enhances the sense of refinement). The base underneath is dark, echoing the base of the store’s center island, maintaining a consistent style.

Island counter

Design and Materials: The lower portion of the perfume bar counter features charcoal black vertical-grain panels. The texture adds visual depth, and the calming charcoal color also makes the island cabinet the centerpiece of the space. The upper countertop continues the light wood color of the wall cabinets. This material harmony creates a unified overall style and avoids the sense of fragmentation caused by a cluttered color palette.

Functionality and Interactivity: The perfume counter showcases seasonal featured and limited-edition fragrances. Customers can gather around the counter to pick up a bottle, smell it, and interact with the shop assistants. The accompanying brown high-legged stools (pictured) facilitate an in-depth experience—customers can sit and slowly sample a variety of fragrances, even engaging in in-depth discussions with staff about the fragrance’s notes and story.

The perfume wall cabinet uses light solid wood grain panels as the main material. The warm texture of the wood can neutralize the “exquisite cold feeling” of the perfume, making the space more friendly; paired with a black matte backboard or frame, it forms a “warm wood + deep black” contrast, which not only highlights the color of the perfume bottle (transparent bottle body, colored bottle body, etc.), but also creates a high-end artistic sense, as if each perfume is a work of art.

The perfume wall cabinet utilizes a combination of multi-layered shelving, recessed lighting, and a decorative area. The upper shelves are widely spaced and designed specifically for displaying perfume samples. Lighting, either from above or embedded within the shelves, precisely illuminates the bottles, highlighting their texture and design. The middle shelves accommodate beautifully packaged gift boxes, fulfilling the “gift” nature of perfume displays. The lower shelves connect to a low drawer cabinet (more on this later) for inventory storage, creating a clean display area and ample storage space.
