This trendy music store accurately meets the demands of young consumers for style and functionality. Through lighting design, wall cabinets and experience areas, as well as layout, it creates a space that achieves a perfect balance between visual appeal and practical value.
Overall layout
The layout of th this music store follows the path of guided browsing. Customers enter through the store door and first see the record display area. Then they move to the guitar and violin display cabinets area. Next, they reach the experience area. Finally, they return to the accessory display cabinets area.
This layout not only showcases the products to the fullest extent, but also prolongs the customers’ stay in the store. From browsing to experiencing and finally to purchasing, it forms a complete consumption path.
Lighting Design
The ceiling features a modular light panel system. The irregularly white panels with strip-shaped LED lights. This not only ensures the overall brightness of the store but also creates a dynamic sense of depth.
In key areas, targeted lighting is to enhance the sense of depth:
- Instrument display area: Spotlights above the wall cabinets. The lights can adjust to a warm yellow color. This helps to highlight the wood grain of the guitars and violins.
- Exhibition area: The top has a truss-type lighting system. This system can switch between the regular display mode and the performance mode.
- Record display area: Soft strip lights on the display stand. These lights evenly illuminate the record covers, making it easier for customers to browse.
Wall-mounted Cabinet Design
Guitar wall cabinet: It adopts a slat structure. It has an electric guitar area and an acoustic guitar area. The electric guitar area uses a dark background board to make the brightly colored guitar bodies more eye-catching. The acoustic guitar area uses a light wood grain background board, which corresponds to the material of the guitar itself.
Violin wall cabinet: Designed with a grid structure and featuring transparent acrylic panels. It not only prevents dust but also serves as a display area. The interior of the cabinet is lined with velvet.
Accessory storage cabinet: Located in the corner area, it features a layered open structure. It displays various colored small accessories. The bottom part has a removable drawer for storing larger accessories.
Experience Area
The experience area is a lively hub within the trendy music store. It contains three functional areas: an area for trying out instruments, an area for small performances, and a recreational area.
Trying out instruments: This area has commonly used instruments, including portable electronic keyboards, drum kits, and microphones, that customers can try out. The trial table is an L-shaped design that allows multiple customers to try out instruments at once. The top of the table is built with materials that are water-resistant and resistant to wear, and they have a smooth finish making it easy to clean.
Small performances: This is a stage (15m2) located 0.6m off the ground on a black metal frame. Behind the stage would be a neon sign advertising the music store. Professional audio equipment on this stage to accommodate small performances. Anti-slip wooden flooring covers the floor of this stage for the safety of performers.
Recreational area: This area adjoins the experience Area. In this area, there are brown velvet chairs and a small coffee table. On the walls of this area, framed album covers are displayed to help customers relax and enjoy the musical environment after they finish trying out the instruments.
Overall, the cool trend music store creates a fashionable and practical music space through carefully designed lighting, wall cabinets, and experience areas. It breaks away from the traditional display mode of music stores. Through the spatial design, it shortens the distance between customers and music, making the purchase of musical instruments an enjoyable experiential consumption.
