Pet store design

Pushing open the glass door of Pet Clinic, the light oak-colored floor, with a warm touch, spreads over the soles of the feet. The off-white walls are illuminated by the soft downlights, giving off a warm glow. Even the air is filled with a faint pet fragrance. Without the hustle and bustle and coldness of traditional pet stores, this place is more like a “pet-friendly community” built with curves and warmth, and the display cabinet system running through the entire space.

Storefront and entrance

The curved storefront has a beige background. The warm brown “Pet Clinic” font adopts a rounded sans-serif design, like cotton candy softened by the sun, eliminating the sense of distance of the commercial sign. The large area of floor-to-ceiling glass half-reveals the interior view of the store. The first display node is the light oak long table at the entrance. The edge of the table has been polished with a 3-cm arc to prevent pets from bumping into it when running.

On the table, there are pet aviation cases and portable bags with a gradient of pink and purple. The warm-toned cases and the light wood color of the table form a soft echo, serving as the first product display after arriving at the store. It also serves as a “buffer zone” for spatial transition – when the owner leads their pet in, they will naturally stop here to take a look, laying the groundwork for relaxation for the subsequent experience.

Storefront design

The inner wall of the glass door continues the arc-shaped language of the door header. Invisible light strips are embedded in the light beige wall, outlining the silhouette logo of “Pet Clinic” cats and dogs. The logo of “REST ROOM” beside it also adopts the same style of arc-shaped font. Even the edge of the corner is softened with black arc-shaped strips.

Reception desk

The reception desk adopts a streamlined integrated design. The main body is matte white, and the bottom is joined with a warm brown arc-shaped base. The edge of the countertop has a 2-cm rounded corner treatment, which not only conforms to ergonomics but also prevents pets from rubbing against sharp areas. The invisible light strips embedded on the countertop emit warm light from the bottom upwards, illuminating the cat and dog silhouette logo while also making the entire reception desk look like a floating “gentle island”.

To the left of the reception desk extends a low platform, on which two uniquely shaped pet beds are displayed: one is a brown spiral-shaped cat bed with lines resembling a curled cat; Another one is a light beige curved dog bed with a skin-friendly velvet surface treatment. These exhibits do not exist in isolation but are in perfect harmony with the curves of the reception desk, turning the intervals of “waiting for procedures to be completed” into a small-scale product experience.

Central Runway

The circular stepped display area in the center of the space is the “heart” of the entire pet store. The white main structure is paired with a warm brown base. The countertop that extends upwards layer by layer is like a miniature theater. Invisible light strips are embedded in each layer of the countertop to illuminate the displayed pet snacks, toys and peripheral products. The most distinctive feature is the wooden decoration hanging from the top: dozens of arched wooden boards are scattered and drooping, like branches swaying in the wind, casting dappled shadows in the warm light, creating an atmosphere of a “forest theater” for the entire area.

  • Product display

This place serves both as a product display area and a pet interaction show venue. The circular design ensures that there are no blind spots in the space. Owners can walk freely around the steps with their pets and stop to observe the products displayed on each floor – such as freeze-dried snacks on the first floor, sound-making toys on the second floor, and pet clothing on the third floor. The height of each floor is suitable for both human and pet sightlines. The warm brown low stools at the bottom of the steps are also designed in an arc shape, allowing the owners to sit and rest, while pets can play and move around in the gaps of the steps. The originally rigid “product display” has transformed into a “shared experience of people and pets”.

Wall cabinet design

The top of the cabinet features a rounded edge, and the shelves are designed with a combination of light oak and matte white. The staggered layout of the shelves breaks the dullness of traditional wall cabinets. Each layer of the board is embedded with invisible light strips. Warm light diffuses upwards from the bottom, illuminating the displayed pet food, leashes and health products, making the details of the products clearly visible.

The red, orange, blue and green ribbons hang down like a rainbow, serving not only as practical product displays but also as decorative elements on the wall. What’s more considerate is that the spacing between the shelves of the wall cabinet has been flexibly adjusted: the bottom layer is suitable for placing large packages of pet food, the middle layer displays medium and small-sized toys, and the top layer displays exquisite pet accessories

Unique pet display

Several unique pet houses and display cabinets have become the “Easter eggs” of the space. The pet house adopts a geometric design: some are small houses with pointed roofs, and the surface is treated with a light wood texture. Some are cactus-shaped cat climbing frames, with a surface covered in soft sisal material. There are also semi-enclosed arc-shaped dog kennels with warm light strips embedded on the top.

Embedded design, with a shape consistent with the small house of the pet house, the shelves are arranged in a staggered manner, displaying pet clothing and accessories. The edges of the display cabinet have been rounded and polished to prevent pets from bumping into it. The warm light strips inside the cabinet are integrated with the overall lighting system of the space, making the entire area both cozy and practical.
